Civic Learning Week

For New York Civic Learning Week, March 9th-13th, NYSEC worked with various partner organizations to share the importance of civic education for all. As members of DemocracyReady NY, NYSEC spoke to the DemocracyReady NY Youth Cohort on who they are, what the toolkit is, and how students can get involved with NYSEC. In addition, NYSEC also worked with the Civi Coalition on their event, Join or Die. This event focused on answering the question: How does a divided people decide to govern themselves together? We are grateful to DemocracyReady NY & the Civi Coalition for their support this week.
